Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how Unwind Kit handles information on unwindkit.com, including our browser games, interactive tools, and website services. Some game data stays in your browser, but using this website also involves data processing by our hosting, analytics, and advertising providers. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to 520daisydu@gmail.com.
1. Information processed when you use the website
- Usage and technical information: pages and URLs visited, referring sources, game interactions, session activity, loading performance, browser and device information, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers may be processed by the services below. Network requests also expose your IP address to the provider receiving them.
- Browser storage: some experiences save preferences, scores, progress, or content you enter in local storage. This is separate from analytics and information sent to service providers; it does not mean all website activity stays on your device.
- Messages you send us: contacting us by email provides your email address and any information or attachments you include. We use these to respond to your request and handle support or privacy issues.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into games or feedback. Clearing browser storage removes local game data but does not delete information already received by us or third-party services.
2. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use Unwind Kit and to measure game interactions and website performance. Events can include page URLs and titles, referral information, game names, interaction types, and timing or performance measurements. Google may use cookies and other identifiers to measure visits. We receive reports to improve the website; this does not mean all data collected by the service is anonymous.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers.
3. Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand website interactions through heatmaps and session replays. This can include clicks, taps, scrolling, navigation, page content, and device or browser information. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies, including first- and third-party cookies, to measure usage. We use this information to identify usability problems and improve our games and pages.
Microsoft processes this information for its services, including site optimization, security and fraud prevention, and advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
4. Google AdSense and advertising cookies
We have integrated Google AdSense code and may display Google-served advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, can use cookies to select ads based on earlier visits to this website or other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize advertising using activity across those sites.
When ads are served, advertising providers may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, and detect invalid traffic. Depending on the ad configuration and your choices, other third-party advertising vendors may also participate. Non-personalized ads can still involve cookies or other data processing for these purposes.
Manage or opt out of Google personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. You can also visit the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page to opt out of personalized advertising from participating third-party vendors. These choices do not necessarily remove ads, stop analytics, or apply to every browser or device. See Google's explanation of advertising technologies for more information.
5. Hosting, embedded games, and optional services
Our website is hosted on Vercel. Infrastructure providers process requests and may handle technical logs, IP addresses, requested URLs, and device information to deliver and protect the service. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
Some curated games are embedded from third-party websites. Loading an embedded game connects your browser to its provider, which may collect data, set cookies, or show its own ads. External links and sharing services also have their own privacy practices. Review the relevant provider's policy before using those services; this policy does not describe every third-party game's processing.
If you use our optional FoTime code-redemption feature, the website sends your submitted passphrase to our server and processes your IP address to check eligibility and prevent repeat claims. A successful claim stores the IP-linked claim record, redemption link, and timestamp in our Upstash database. These records currently have no automatic expiry. Contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable requirements and legitimate fraud-prevention needs. See the Upstash Privacy Policy.
This policy covers the website. The separate FoTime iOS app has its own FoTime app privacy policy.
6. Cookies, consent, and your choices
Optional Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity scripts stay off until you explicitly allow each service in Privacy settings at the bottom of the page. Advertising consent does not automatically enable these statistics services. Your choices are stored in this browser for up to 180 days. If the choice cannot be saved, optional statistics remain off. Refusing statistics does not prevent you from playing.
Reopen Privacy settings to change or withdraw your statistics choices. Changing a running service refreshes the page to unload it, which may reset unsaved game progress. When you turn a service off, we also attempt to remove its accessible first-party cookies; this does not delete data already received by its provider. Use Manage advertising choices to reopen Google’s message where available. These controls do not govern independently operated third-party embedded games.
Use browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage. Doing so may reset saved game settings or prevent some features from working. The provider controls linked above offer additional analytics and advertising choices.
Where a consent message is displayed, use its controls to accept, reject, or revisit the available choices. Availability can depend on your region and the services enabled on the site. This policy is a disclosure, not a request for consent: reading it or continuing to browse does not itself grant consent where consent is required.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request. We may need information to verify and locate your records, and some requests must be addressed directly to the relevant provider. You may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.
7. Retention, security, and international processing
Local storage generally remains until you or your browser removes it. We keep support correspondence as needed to address requests and related issues. Analytics, advertising, and hosting data retention depends on the service and its settings; provider policies describe their practices. FoTime website claim records are described in section 5. There is no single retention period for all information processed through this website.
Providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy policies describe relevant locations and transfer protections. No online transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
Children should use the website with guidance from a parent or guardian and should not submit personal information through games or email. Analytics, embedded games, and advertising services may process technical information when a page loads; a child-friendly appearance does not mean that no data is processed. If you believe a child has provided personal information that needs to be removed, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Updates and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date at the top of this page. For privacy questions or requests, email 520daisydu@gmail.com or visit our contact page.
