Most ambient sound generators give you a list of toggleable audio loops. Soundscape Canvas does something different: it makes sound tactile. Every tap on the canvas simultaneously plays a synthesized natural sound and leaves a soft watercolor bloom that slowly fades. Rain drops, wind chimes, flowing water, bird calls, crackling fire, and ocean waves — each mapped to its own color and visual bloom style. As you tap and layer, the canvas fills with shifting color while the sounds overlap into a personal ambient soundscape.
All sounds are generated in real time using the Web Audio API — no audio files are downloaded. Rain is shaped white noise filtered through a bandpass to capture the mid-frequency splash texture. Wind chimes are stacked harmonic sine tones with exponential decay, producing that bell-like sustain. Bird calls are rapid frequency sweeps mimicking the up-down chirp pattern of small songbirds. This synthesized approach means the experience loads instantly, works completely offline after the first load, and every sound is subtly unique each time — more like real nature than a loop.
